Each year I guide weekend-long rockhounding excursions in the Oregon and Nevada deserts. Join me on a quest to uncover beautiful rocks, minerals, and fossils, and camp out under the stars. Wander with me across mountains, rivers, and canyons as we witness evidence of the perpetual evolution of Earth's surface through the eons.
These days, I schedule trips in May and June which are warm and relatively free of wildfires. Occassionally, I'll add a trip in October, too, if wildfire season subsides in time.

In addition to my scheduled rockhounding trips, I offer guided trips for corporate getaways and private groups. I also offer location scouting and commercial filming permit assistance in SE Oregon and NW Nevada. Contact me for more information.

I am a licensed, bonded, and insured outfitter guide and each trip operates under special use permits from public lands agencies.
