These earrings are cut from a pale green aventurine. Aventurine is just the gemstone name for quartzite. Quartzite however is pretty cool. This is the stuff of ancient beaches that was compressed in epic tectonics journey over millions to billions of years.
The stones are 5mm wide by 30mm long and hang 50mm total on hammered 14k gold fill wire. The earrings weigh 2 grams each.
