These froggy earrings are cut from a swampy orbicular jasper, the stuff that forms through the devitrification of spectacular ash flow tuffs. The stones dispay various forms of opal, agate, and clay minerals in pockets geologists call “lithophysae.”
The stones are 28mm wide and hang 38mm on hammered 14k gold-fill wire. The earrings weigh 3 grams each.
