Poppy Jasper & Rhodonite Earrings

These earrings are cut from a deep red orbicular “poppy jasper” found on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. They material is likely glacial in origin and not native to the local rocks. The pink is rhodonite from the copper mines in Butte, Montana.
The stones are 24mm wide and hang 38mm on hammered 14k gold fill wire. The earrings weigh 2 grams each.
