These earrings are cut from a bright yellow marble from the “Verde Antique” quarry located at Stoddard Mountain in California's Mojave Desert. The yellow color is imparted by the presence of serpentinite, which is also found at the site.
The stones are 28mm wide and hang 38mm on hammered 14k gold-fill wire. The earrings weigh 3 grams each.
